For years I struggled with upstyling...
I used to cringe at the thought of doing curls and literally would beg my co-workers to take an updo off my books in exchange for blowdrying and finishing their client. The reality was I was loosing money all because I was too scared of a client HATING their hair.
I gave up over an hour of my time that I could have been using to make money and I was left wishing I had just taken the updo.
After going through many cycles of anxiety and loss of income, I knew I had to start learning HOW to upstyle and get over my fear. That's when I started going to countless classes, but to be honest, I was not getting better. I kept watching other people do hair but when I tried it myself, the updo would just fall apart. THERE WAS NOTHING SIMPLE ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE TEACHING.
Something was missing.
It wasn't until I met a session stylist (THAT I ASSISTED FOR FREE) who broke down everything from blowdrying to prep, and properly showing me how to build a lasting foundation. He showed me quick styling tips that I was able to apply in the salon and simplified intricate looking styles. It was because of these tips, I quickly built an entire wedding clientele based off of 3 signature updos that I created with my own style!
I realized during that time there were two things getting in my way of upstyling. It was lack of knowledge and lack of confidence! It was never skill because I always had it in me, I just needed to perfect my skill with KNOWLEDGE and back it up with CONFIDENCE in the way I presented my work to my client.
I still carry these life changing tips with me today and I share these tips with you in this course!

Who is Mirella Manelli?
